Watermark Global - Final Scoping Report Approval

Watermark, the AIM quoted Company which focuses on the treatment of Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) in South Africa, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Western Utilities Corporation Pty Ltd. (“WUC”) has received approval for its final scoping report and plan of study for an environmental impact assessment from the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (“GDARD”).

Jaco Schoeman, Managing Director of Watermark, commented:

“The GDARD approval is a significant step forward and we can now proceed with the submission of our Environmental Impact Assessment Report. These are major building blocks in the approval process and with the approval being received the race against time to prevent an environmental catastrophe in the Gauteng region can still be won.”
