Forbidden Technologies - ITV Manchester extends FORscene use
    23-02-2010

Forbidden Technologies today announced that 3SixtyMedia, part of ITV Manchester, provided FORscene for the post production of 'May the Best House Win', produced by Shiver Productions, which began broadcasting on ITV1 on 22nd February 2010.

‘May the Best House Win’ is a new television programme featuring proud home owners who show off their houses to the viewing public while competing for a £1,000 cash prize.

Shooting was conducted in Digibeta and material was captured simultaneously into FORscene Load for compression and uploading into local storage facilities for editing. Access through the Cloud enabled production staff to view and log material. Producers had access to frame accurate logged transcriptions ensuring an efficient use of edit suites.

Judith Bibby, Post Production Facilities Coordinator at 3SixtyMedia, said:
“Having provided FORscene previously, we're happy to recommend it to our clients as an efficient and effective solution. We are increasingly being asked to provide access to material outside of the edit suite. We have successfully extended the 3Sixty brand to our clients away from the building as we can now deliver our service anywhere.”

Pete Burns, Project Manager at Forbidden Technologies said:
“We are delighted our relationship with 3SixtyMedia continues to develop. FORscene’s simple yet powerful tools, combined with the wide-ranging technical service, delivered by post-production facilities, is proving highly attractive to producers.”
